On June 9, 2026, Yakutsk hosted an expanded joint meeting of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), devoted to the theme: «The Arctic – a territory of new strategic innovative solutions: achievements, frontiers, and challenges.»
